Blader ranks

The NEW Blader Rank system is a way for bladers to showcase their Beyblade proficiency in ways beyond tournament placements.

It is designed to work alongside our Achievement Gear system. The XP bladers gain from completing quests go towards their overall blader rank.

Bladers now have agency to play the game and interact with the community in any way they want - and be rewarded for it!

The blader rank system is split into four distinct classifications;

Spark ranks are the stepping stones to becoming a pro-blader. These ranks are easy for both casual and competitive players to progress through.

Ranks include;
Bird, Novice, Amateur, Veteran, Expert and Professional.

Storm ranks are for those that have began honing their blading skills and are journeying towards becoming their best version. Navigating through these ranks requires more competitive prowess.

Ranks include;
Zephyr Master(+), Vortex King(+) and Tempest Ruler(+).

Rev ranks are tailored towards the players just love to grind some gears. These are for the dedicated bladers who seek the joy of completing all the available quests.

Ranks include;
Revolutionary and Revered.

X ranks are the pinnacle of competitive Beyblade. With limited space and harsh performances requirements, this tier is reserved for the best of the best.

Ranks include;
Xemplar, Xecutioner and Xecutive

Rewards

Quests ➠ Gears ➠ revs ➠ Ranks ➠ Rewards

At the end of every season:

  • ALL Bladers will receive a BeyPass insert with their current rank.

  • Revolutionary Bladers will receive a current booster/starter of their choice.

  • Revered Bladers will receive a prize bey (i.e; Hells Chain, Clear Drake, Tusk Mammoth).

In addition to many more rewards TBA.

Xecutive Bonuses

There can only be 3 Xecutives at a time.
Being an Xecutive is a position that should be respected and so once you reach this prestigious rank you will have access to the following buffs at almost every Europa tournament;

  • Always has their choice of stadium side.

  • Once per match, ability to remove 1 penalty point.

  • Option to protect + ban first in B5X2 format.

When two Xecutive bladers get paired together, all bonuses are void.

How to rank up?

Obtaining gears generates Revz, and after gathering enough, you will be eligible for a rank-up.

Below is a list of the gear tiers from Bronze to Diamond and how many Revz each grants.

Each ranked class has multiple divisions associated to it. Each division requires you to meet certain conditions before being eligible for a rank-up.

Every blader begins their journey at Bird.

To rank-up from Spark Storm, a blader must have 360 Revz AND go +3.

plus+ system

The PLUS+ system is a way to measure a blader's skill and consistency.

To achieve +3 you will either need to:

  • Go on a 3 game win-streak

    OR

  • Have a win-score of 3

For example;
A blader with a record of WWLWW has a win-score of 3, so that blader has achieved +3.
The blader is eligible for rank-up.

However, if the blader has a record of LWWLWW, their win-score will only be 2.
The blader is not eligible for rank-up.

Finally, a record of LLWWW. Despite having a win-score of only 1, the 3 game win-streak trumps this.
The blader is eligible for rank-up.

The PLUS+ requirements become increasingly harder as you progress through the Storm ranks.

Although a blader cannot demote from Storm back to Spark, if they ever go on a loss-streak of 3 or have a win-score of -3 they will be demoted down from a PLUS+ rank.

Rev and X Class

After Storm, there is a fork in the ranking system. Bladers can choose which area they want to pursue, if not both!

Rev class is tailored towards the gear grinders. With no battle requirements and no ways to demote, players are free to showcase their favourite achievements and progress however they want. At the end of every season all bladers in the Rev class will also be eligible for prizes to reward their efforts.

X class is the opposite. There are no further XP requirements in the X ranks and unlike Storm class, a blader can demote from the X ranks by having a win-score of -3.
The only way to permanently stay an Xemplar is to go undefeated in a tournament and forgo the PLUS requirements.

There are no limits to how many Xemplars there can be at one time, but there is a limit to how many Xecutioners and Xecutives there can be.

Both Xecutioners and Xecutives are capped at 3 seats each, the only way to swap places with one, is to defeat them in a match whilst being 1 rank below.
